Unexpected Bronze Medal

Today, was the annual BTFC Closed Taekwondo Championship. I, unwillingly, took part in the Poomsae event, only to be awarded a bronze medal. :P

The event started at 8am in S.K. Kelana Jaya. Once I reached there, there seem to be no one around, until I started looking at the SUPER-SMALL canteen. I chatted with one of my friend there until 9am.

Like most events, there are speeches, opening ceremonies, etc. Ours are on 9am SHARP. We are forced to stand up and bow when those "VIPs" came. Although it didn't seem hard, it was frustrating, because we need to do that like 3 times per minute.

Nothing much happened after the competition until the time when they announced the results. UNEXPECTEDLY, "Bronze Medalist, Neoh Al Vin!". And yeah, you know what happens next. :D

And yeah, Grand Master Park is coming to SJK (C) Chung Hwa tomorrow! Will post about it tomorrow. Until then, tada~

Helena- My Chemical Romance

Yeah, just feel like introducing an alternative-rock song: Helena, performed by My Chemical Romance.

Well, as you guys might know, I'm pretty much of a heavy-metal fan. Although this isn't really "heavy-metal", it still satisfies me. The theme of the song is about the main singer's (Gerard Way) late grandmother- Helena. And yup, you guessed it, the song is kinda emo. O_O

Some comments about this song: Although it's rated as alternative-rock, it sounds like an emo rock. The lyrics (see below) are pretty much enough to say that it's emo rock.

Click HERE to view the music video of this awesome song (NOTE: It's much better to watch in high quality). Yeah, it's HIGHLY not recommended to watch it if you hate emo songs. This video shows the funeral of a girl (possibly Helena) with the emotional Gerard singing (or is it mourning? O_O). Towards the end, Helena had rose from her coffin and danced down the nave representing crossing over into the afterlife. After she fell back into the casket, all the band members carried the casket (under the rain, though) to the hearse, followed by some dancing men and women with umbrellas. (Credits to Wikipedia)

Below are the lyrics for this song: (Credits to sing365.com)
Long ago
Just like the hearse you died to get in again
We are so far from you

Burning on just like a match you strike to incinerate
The lives of everyone you know
And what's the worst you take (worst you take)
from every heart you break (heart you break)
And like the blade you stain (blade you stain)
Well I've been holding on tonight

What's the worst that I can say?
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long and goodnight

Came a time
When every star fall brought you to tears again
We are the very hurt you sold
And what's the worst you take (worst you take)
from every heart you break (heart you break)
And like the blade you stain (blade you stain)
Well I've been holding on tonight

What's the worst that I can say?
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long and goodnight
And if you carry on this way
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long and goodnight

Can you hear me?
Are you near me?
Can we pretend to leave and then
We'll meet again
When both our cars collide?

What's the worst that I can say?
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long not goodnight
Well if you carry on this way
Things are better if I stay
So long and goodnight
So long and goodnight

CHS Teacher's Day 2009

Well, most CHS-ians will think that it's the same as last year's, but in fact, it's different, and much more boring. T_T

Alright, I reached school at 7.25am and entered the hall. Not much happened here until we were called to go to the Assembly Field (tapak perhimpunan). There, me and my friends started our blabbering. First of all, a few teachers went to the center and talked about this "Teacher's Day" thingy (Why does it always have to begin with this? D:). Then some students performed some kind of dance. =.=

Yeah, unlike last year's, it was very boring. After the performances, Mr. Micheal (also known as the human slapper) ordered us to walk IN ONE STRAIGHT LINE to the canteen. I mean, come on, there are more than 1000 students in just Form 1 and 2, and you'd expected us to walk in ONE LINE?

After having our "extremely-quick break", we (the Form 1s and 2s) went to the sports complex while the other students and teachers went to the hall. And yeah, we continued our blabbering. Meanwhile, some singers went to the front and sang some songs (LOL). Then we finally got a chance to see the finals of the CHS Idol. But we actually felt kinda bored as we don't know most of the singers. Well, we continued blabbering, throwing paper planes (childish) and running here and there. I pity the teacher who took care of us there though. D:

Yeah, another boring event had ended just like that. I REALLY hope that next year's won't be this boring. T_T

CHS Sports Day 2009

Yeah, today's the not-so-famous Sports Day. D:

As always, I have to wake up like, 6am? Then I had to rush and eat my breakfast and blablabla... (Will skip this part)

When I reached school, there were a sea of reds, yellows, blues, greens and purples. Yeah, I was in the Red house. Not much to say here... X_X

Alright the fun part starts here, all of the house's mascots were damn funny. Red house's Pinocchio (lol), Blue house's wolf (lolol), Green house's durian (LOL), Yellow house's fire (rofl?) and Purple house's UFO (unbelievable lol). Their performance were pretty funny, and I kinda like to see the durians dancing lol.

After singing the National Anthem and the School's song, everyone gone nuts lol. Almost no one was in their tent. Some played weird games like putting dried ice into a cup of cola, climbing up fences, etc. Sadly though, 2 of the weird "games" I played with my friends was ruined by the prefects lol.

Yeah, around 12.30pm, we all had to gather on the CENTER of the field to watch the prize-giving ceremony. You can imagine how damn hot was it lol. My body's sweating like I just bathed. =X

This year's Sports day went on well. Congratulations to the UFOs for getting first place! :P
