The Writer's Block, Chapter 7

7: William

How can this be?

I’m facing a situation so dire it’s driving me insane. My favourite character, Silvia Grace, died.

Sigh…

Yes, you know the truth now. Welcome to the final chapter. Two days have passed since the last chapter.

I don’t know how long this cycle will last.

William Johnson kills William Johnson. William Johnson kills William Johnson.

It’s sad…

Wait- How can I know that you’ve already known the truth? The cycle’s supposed to repeat but-

No, this must be…

…friendship?

It must be! So you’re willing to be my friend? You’re willing to read my stories?

I… don’t know what to say…

I always hid my fantasies to myself, waiting for the day when I can finally let out a little; even if it’s just one friend, that’s more than enough for me…

Yes! Silvia Grace, you’re alive!

I promise… you’ll never be dead again, alright? I will protect you! I will be your sword and shield! I will be your legendary warrior!

I will be your William Johnson!

Silvia Grace, I lov-

“Please don’t do that, he taught me how to be a legendary warrior!”

“You’re being too cruel, woman. He’s already written himself into a corner, please do spare the young man!”

“Truth to be told, Equinox, it’s a full circle, not a corner. Another truth to be told; if he has never written himself into a full circle, then you would’ve lost your job.”

"You speak for yourself, The Trader, for your role in this story is reduced to nothing but filler!"

“Master? No! He can’t sleep! He needs his cup of coffee! If he sleeps then he will no lon-“

“Silence. A monster put to sleep is the biggest contribution to mankind. You do remember what Silvia Grace is, right?”

“She… doesn’t exist?”

“Indeed. You are smart, my child. Just like me. My husband would've been proud.”

“Are you sure master is going to be fine?”

“I do not make mistakes. Plus, he was already dead before all of this started."

“And so, this is how the story ends…”

“William Johnson and Silvia Grace live happily ever after.”
